Ingredients

  • roast-
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 3 lbs chuck roast (beef), 2" cubes
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, sliced
  • 2 tsp table salt
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 6 garlic cloves, sliced
  • sauce-
  • ¼ cup A1 steak sauce, or favorite steak sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce, any brand
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's)

Instructions

  1. First, Cut meat into 1 ½” – 2” pieces. 
  2. Then, Slice garlic and onion. Slice butter
  3. Add meat in slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Add onions and garlic, butter and bay leaves to slow cooker. 
  4. Cook on low 6-8 hours, or on high 4-5 hours (until meat is tender).
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by combining all of the ingredients.
  6. Remove meat from slow cooker and add to a baking dish. Generously coat with sauce.
  7. Broil at 450°F until meat is crispy. 
  8. ENJOY!
